Media Advisory: Experts Available to Speak about Nitrate Levels

June 9, 2015: Two water experts at The Ohio State University are available to speak about nitrate levels in water in light of the nitrate advisory in Columbus.

On Monday, Columbus Public Health and Franklin County Public Health issued a nitrate advisory for communities receiving water from the Columbus Division of Public Utilities Dublin Road Water Plant due to higher nitrate levels detected in the water.

Ecological engineer in Ohio State’s Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering, in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. Martin was recently chosen to lead Field to Faucet, a water quality program launched by Ohio State to ensure safe drinking water while maintaining an economically productive agricultural sector.
